Welcome to Sentinel Pointe

I began my career in healthcare as the marketing and admissions director in a skilled nursing community in 2014.  I then moved onto becoming an executive director for a non-profit independent living community.  I was fortunate enough to lead both independent and assisted living community teams, and have also had the pleasure of opening a brand-new building where I learned about the licensure process and starting from literally the ground up.  My heart has always been drawn back to the independent living communities.  I find great joy in my work with seniors and their families, helping them problem solve and navigate whatever comes their way.

I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of a community where genuine care, compassion and respect, by staff as well as residents, is evident daily. My 8 years at Sentinel Pointe have given me an even greater appreciation and respect for our seniors and especially so for our Veterans. I am blessed to be able to call our community my home away from home.

After 10 years in management in the hotel industry, I wanted to make a change and thought senior care would be the perfect fit for me. I had the experience necessary to manage the day-to-day accounting, resident billing, and employee functions of the community. But upon switching to the aging and long-term care industry, I realized how fulfilling and meaningful a job could be. Every day I am grateful to work for a company that truly cares about our community and our residents. Great hospitality is at the core of my values, something that I have always brought along with me in my career. It is such a pleasure to serve my employees and residents with the same hospitality utilized in the hotel industry and I am so glad to be a part of a community that makes the difference between a house and a home.
