I began my career at Governor’s Ridge in 2007 as a caregiver during my senior year of high school. From the start, I developed a passion for serving older adults and have remained dedicated to senior living ever since. Over the years, I have grown within the community through several key roles, including Assistant Resident Care Director, Administrative Assistant, Business Office Manager, Assistant Executive Director, and now Executive Director. I am proud to lead Governor’s Ridge, and I am committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and truly at home. My goal has always been to improve the lives of residents in every way possible, and I strive each day to make that mission a reality. Outside of work, I am a proud sports mom. I enjoy spending time with my 11-year-old son and can often be found at the baseball fields cheering him on!

I began my healthcare career in 2000 in home health and became a State Certified Nursing Assistant in 2005 and a Certified Medication Aide in 2007. Over the years, I have gained experience working in skilled nursing, memory care, behavioral health, and within the Texas prison system. In 2012, I furthered my education by becoming a Pharmacy Technician. I joined Governors Ridge in 2024 as a Medication Technician/Caregiver, was promoted to Assistant Resident Care Director, and now proudly serve as the Resident Care Director. I am passionate about providing compassionate care and supporting residents and staff. Outside of work, I am a proud mother of four and a loving Mimi to six grandchildren.

Hello, I am Reggie Cummings Sr., and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. After working in the military and healthcare field, I discovered my passion for cooking and serving others through food. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked as a backyard BBQ chef, caterer, restaurant lead cook, and co-opened a BBQ restaurant, as well as served as a Dietary Manager and Assistant Manager for the rotisserie department at Sam’s Club. Today, I’m proud to serve as the Kitchen Manager at Governor’s Ridge, where I enjoy providing quality meals and a welcoming dining experience for our residents.

Hello, my name is Sabrina Farella, and I have the joy of serving as the Life Enrichment Director here at Governor’s Ridge Assisted Living. Every day, I look forward to helping brighten our wonderful resident’s days, in a way that brings laughter, smiles and a sense of ongoing comradery throughout each day. My hope is to foster an environment that everyone looks forward to, where everybody has fun and is all open to trying new things. The time with our residents in activities is a time together that often initiates friendships, some lasting the rest of a lifetime, and encourages creativity and the willingness to try new things, with laughter and joy throughout. My hope is to help all residents find a sense of belonging and enjoyment through social interaction, ongoing support and a sense of joy. Whether it’s a fun game, a creative art project, an outing around the community, gentle exercise class, or a quiet afternoon of a little coffee and conversation, there’s something for everyone here to enjoy.

I retired from the financial industry after over 35 years and quickly decided I needed something else to do. I started as a receptionist in January of 2023 and worked my way up to Administrative Assistant and now Business Office Manager. I have several different hobbies that keep me busy but my favorite things to do are hang out with my twin grandkids or attend horse shows with my daughter.

I appreciate the opportunities given to me at Governor’s Ridge and enjoy the relationships I have established with both co-workers and residents.
